| Audio Collections: | An Unexamined Diet isn't Worth Eating |
Socrates’ old adage of “An Unexamined life isn’t
worth living” is especially true for dieting; an unexamined diet isn’t worth eating. Obesity is often the result of not carefully scrutinizing your food
choices and portion sizes. Fortunately, self-examination leads to selecting more fresh fruit and vegetables and smaller portions. Each time you examine
your eating habits, it is an opportunity to learn, understand, or become aware of something that helps you eat and feel better. During hypnosis there is
an increase in focus, concentration and memory. While deeply relaxing in hypnosis, you put your diet under your powerful microscope, so you improve your
eating habits by learning from your own dietary experiences.
Socrates taught us that without self-examination personal growth and development aren’t possible. If we do not reflect on our food choices, then we are
doomed to repeating the same dietary mistakes and gaining weight. Conversely, a self-examined diet is how you enjoy the foods and portions you put inside
your body.
